So I slept the day away (needed it!) and then hung out with a motley crew from Ireland, the Netherlands, and various places in the US. It was neat to hear everyone's travel stories, because you meet the most interesting and well-traveled people at hostels.
Last night I walked to the beach and the moon was just this sliver of a crescent and there were only a couple stars in the sky. beautiful.
In the afternoon today, it rained, and it is still raining, so I think it is going to be a down day...
here is the weather at the beach!
but it is good to take a bit of a rest and maintain my strength for the journey ahead!!
maybe I'l get to enjoy the beach more tomorrow......
